No, Cloud is the protagonist, and really Jenova is the villain. Though, Hojo is the one who fucked everyone and everything up, he really should have been the final boss in 7, not Sephiroth.

yeah he is but not playable , this game is basically a prequel to FF7 taking 7 years before the FF7 !!

U know pheonix downs are actually for those who become unconcious , evven i thought the same way but then i cam to know this from final fantasy XII and the sword is heavy but for a soldier or a person like cloud its very light for them! so….

i cried at this part everytime i beat the game X( it’s so sad, i knew he was goin to die cause he’s not in FF VII but i never knew he was going to die like this but awsome game its my favorite

This is one of the most powerful cut scenes for any game that I’ve ever seen. Crisis Core was definitely worth every penny I paid for it when it first came out. In fact, I still play it from time to time. It’s got definite replay value for sure.
